What data we collect

FieldWatch accesses the following Shopify store data to provide its metafield monitoring functionality:

• •Products, customers, orders, and collections — to detect metafield changes via webhook notifications.
• •Metafield definitions — to display available metafields in the watch configuration interface.
• •Metafield values — to compare current values against stored snapshots for change detection.
• •Store owner email — for account identification.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the metafield change detection service. We:

• •Store watch configurations (resource type, metafield namespace/key, conditions) to monitor metafield changes.
• •Store metafield value snapshots to detect changes between updates.
• •Keep an execution log of trigger firings for your review.

Data storage

All data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure using D1 (SQLite) databases. Data is encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest by Cloudflare's storage systems.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your data is only used to communicate with the Shopify Admin API to detect metafield changes and fire Flow triggers on your behalf.

Data retention

Execution logs are retained based on your plan tier (7 to 90 days). Metafield snapshots are retained as long as the corresponding watch is active. When you uninstall the app, all associated data (sessions, watches, snapshots, logs) is permanently deleted.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by uninstalling the app or contacting us. All data will be permanently removed upon uninstallation.
